With seemingly every 1967 Nova restored as a restomod it’s refreshing to see that there are still a few stock Novas left. Make it rarer Nova wagon like this one and you’ve got yourself one special car. Nova wagons sold pretty well in the early years of production but by 1967, the last year of the Nova wagon, only 12,400 were built. This rare Nova is listed on Ebay in Holyoke, Massachusetts with a BIN of $21,500.
The seller gives just a brief description of the Nova but here’s what we do know: It is a 77,000 mile southern car with solid frames and floors and is powered by a 250ci 6 cylinder engine with an automatic transmission. Everything is said to work well and it has working air conditioning. There is no mention of restoration but at minimum one can expect that there was a respray along the way. The wheels may not be what was ordered form the factory but they are the period correct Chevrolet Rally wheels that were offered on several models including the Nova.
The roof rack is a nice touch and the tinted glass will will help the air conditioning cool the car nicely. Some of the molding is said to have minor imperfection but it’s not evident in the pictures.
Take a look at the ‘waffle’ trim on the tail gate and how the the tail lights extend. Some of the nice design touches that make this Nova so desirable.
We would love to see many more detailed pictures of the interior but what we do see shows us the inside is just as nice as the exterior. The engine bay looks exceptionally clean and detailed correctly.
