Found on Ebay is this Beautiful top of the line 9 passenger 1961 Nomad wagon being offered at no reserve. The seller says it is an “F” code car meaning it was originally equipped with a 2bbl 348 V8, but is now powered by a 283V8. It is also said to be an original “air” car although the compressor is missing. Power steering, power drum brakes and a rear power widow are among the other options listed.

The 2-tone paint is the right combination along with the period correct wide whitewalls. A very nice and honest weekend driver, the only thing we would like to see is a stock engine compartment.

With its striking color combination and original condition, this 1960 Chevy Nomad found at Hemmings  with an asking price of $18,000 is a desirable wagon find. Sure it has rough spots, some rust, faded paint in spots and a dirty engine compartment but the fact that it is basically 100% original gives this car a lot of character. The two-tone deep blue and white exterior matched with the checkered red and white interior actually works very well.

The owner describes the 56,000 mile Nomad as having original paint, chrome and stainless. The interior is original and in excellent condition with the back seat still covered in original plastic. All the doors including the tailgate are properly aligned and open and close perfectly. The engine runs well despite old plugs and wires. A new exhaust system as well as new tires are needed.

This car could be restored to its original glory, but for me this is the kind of car best left as is.

I always love the story that a documented car can tell and this well optioned 1968 Chevrolet Caprice station wagon found on Ebay has both the original build sheet and the original invoice included. We can see that on December 4th, 1967 a gentleman walked into a Chevy dealership in Missouri and placed an order for a well optioned top of the line Caprice wagon.  A $2,366 credit was given for his 1958 Chevy wagon and his 1964 Impala. Total price for the Caprice was 4,666.95 including over $1,000 in options.

44 years later the Caprice has held up well. Equipped with the original 327/250hp 4bbl engine and Turbo-Hydramatic transmission, the wagon is finished in its original  Palamino Ivory exterior and turquoise interior. Options include air conditioning,  power steering and brakes, front bumper guards, luggage rack, deluxe steering wheel, power tailgate window and an outside remote control mirror.

Found on Ebay is this two owner 1962 Chevrolet Impala Wagon with 59,948 miles on the odometer. With a 235 6 cylinder engine and a 2 speed Powerglide this car may be ripe for a restomod, or just a nice economical cruiser. Having owned a ’64 Impala with the same powerplant I can attest to the fact that this is a pretty decent engine- much nicer than the Ford sixes of the era.

This 1962 Chevrolet Corvair Monza station wagon found on Ebay is a nice daily driver that is sure to bring a curious crowd on your driving adventures. The owner says it was one of the last 1962’s produced and with only 2,362 Corvair Monza wagons built for ’62 it is a rare car. Reproduction carpet, upholstery and door panels have been added. There is no mention of a repaint, but he does say that the interior and exterior are the correct color code. Mechanically, the motor has been rebuilt and resealed, a new clutch and bearings have been added, front and rear suspension overhauled and the steering gear has been rebuilt and realigned.

Believed to be an original fire chiefs wagon from Virginia, this 1964 Chevrolet Bel Air wagon has been restored to show quality retaining the look of an early 60’s emergency vehicle right out of Mayberry. The Bel Air is equipped with period emergency equipment, including working lights and siren. Powered by a 283 V8, the seller describes the car as an excellent driver with excellent paint and chrome and a beautiful interior. Found on Ebay with a $25,000 BIN, this is a unique wagon that’s sure to draw crowds.
