Found on Ebay, this 1966 Volvo 122S has a recent interior including seats, dash, door panels, carpet and headliner. The exterior was painted about 20 years ago and although not perfect looks to show well. The seller says the car ‘runs like a top’ and gets 30mpg highway. I’m not a fan of the wheels, but the seller says the original wheels and wheelcovers come with the car. With the reserve already met at $5,700, this Swedish wagon is headed to a new home.
It seems like there has been a plethora of beautiful and original Vista Cruisers for sale lately and this Ebay find continues the Vista Cruiser trend. Only 49,271 miles from new this wagon comes from Oregon where it has been well preserved due to the dry climate. Plenty of power with a big block 403 V8, which was the engine of choice for the Pontiac Trans Am that year. The exterior shows original light yellow paint to be in excellent condition. The original wood applique also looks excellent. Chrome, badging and glass all look original and excellent. The interior appears as almost new with no visible wear on the seats, carpets or dash.

I’m going to go out on a limb and call this the finest 1977 AMC Matador station wagon in existence. After all when was the last time you’ve seen a Matador wagon, let alone one that is this pristine. From the exterior color which is officially named ‘Tawny Orange’ to the plaid interior the car just screams 1970’s.
This 55,000 mile example found on ebay is a 9 passenger wagon equipped with the optional 304 V8 and automatic transmission. Additional options include factory air conditioning, full wheel covers, roof rack and an AM/FM radio. The seller states that everything works inside and out and that it drives like new. All the body panels and brightwork are described as perfect.
With only fifteen 1963 Studebaker Wagonaires equipped with the R2 supercharged 289 this is indeed a rare wagon. Add to it a 4-speed manual transmission and it is likely that the remaining ’63 Wagonaires with this powertrain combination can be counted on one hand. Mostly reserved for the Avanti, the R2 could be ordered for your otherwise pedestrian Lark. Suddenly your family errand run was a scream with the 289 horses under the hood.
This Wagonaire found on Ebay with a BIN price of $12,200, comes with the Daytona trim option that includes front bucket seats, a center console, and a side spear. The engine was rebuilt about ten years ago and has the factory Avanti Carb with correct supercharger pieces. The car was also repainted about ten years ago and is described as ‘not a perfect show car’
Overall the car looks solid but in need of some good detailing in and out. The Studebaker Wagonaires had the unique sliding rear roof and were only produced from 1963 until Studebaker’s demise in 1966. A nice find for Studebaker and wagon enthusiasts alike.
Purchased in California from the family who had owned it since 1978, this clean Bonneville wagon found on Ebay has been stripped to bare metal and repainted in the original Yorktown Blue. The engine has been tuned and detailed and according to the sellers description runs decent with no leaks or smoke. Powered by a 4Bbl 389, the options include factory air (not working), power brakes and steering and tinted glass. The interior could use some work including new seat covers, but overall this is a very nice and desirable early 60’s Pontiac wagon.
Originally form California and now residing in Nevada, this 1962 Country Squire found on Ebay is showing 28,172 miles and is mostly original including the paint. An engine and transmission rebuild brings into question if the odometer has turned but nevertheless this looks to be an excellent turnkey wagon. The Country Squire is powered by a Thunderbird 390 V8 with automatic transmission. A glasspack dual exhaust should give this car a classic rumble. The wood trim looks to be in excellent condition, with the lighter wood being redone. The interior is all original and in excellent condition. A great color combination that is nicely accentuated with the wood trim along with the overall excellent condition of the wagon makes this a great find.
