Only in production from 1958-1960, The Edsel was famously doomed from the start. Despite the writing on the wall, Ford went head with a redesigned Edsel for 1960. Production for 1960 Edsels began on September 14, 1959. The new line was introduced on October 15th and sadly the Edsel assembly line was shut down on November 19th of 1959. With such a short production run only 2,846 Edsels were built for the year. Of the 2,846 Edsels manufactured, only 216 were 6 passenger station wagons, making the 1960 Edsel Villager 6 passenger wagon one of the rarest of all Edsels.

This 1960 Villager, found on Hemmings with an asking price of $42,000 comes from a California museum where it underwent an extensive refreshening. The seller says the car is a great driver and mechanically everything works as it should.  The engine compartment and undercarriage are described as spotless and the chrome and trim are said to be spectacular. The interior also looks to be in excellent condition with a bit of light wear.
