With only 3,437 Dodge Sierra Spectators manufactured, this is a very rare car indeed. I’ve come across two examples of this model for sale; both with matching color schemes. The first one found at Cars-on-line is listed for $37,500 OBO. Rare options include a swivel seat, power steering, power brakes, power rear window, wire wheels, full tinted glass, dual rear view mirrors, deluxe factory AM radio and a Kleenex dispenser. The advertiser says the car spent its life in California and is 100% original.
The second Dodge Spectator offered for $15,900 at tnlgarage.com isn’t as loaded as the first one, but it does appear to be a very solid original car. The seller states the the car is a daily driver and comes equipped with a 361 V8 and pushbutton transmission.

Take 1950’s Virgil Exner styling and combine it with Americas passion for Westerns and this is what you get. This one and only 1956 Chrysler Plainsman concept found on ebay was on the car show circuit for 1956 and ended up in Cuba with a banker until Castro took over. Luckily it made it out of Cuba safely- can you imagine if this car stayed in Cuba? The car had advanced styling cues and mechanical functions including a rear facing power flattening back seat, step plates that came out of the rear bumper, a spare tire that fit under the rear fender and a gas cap under the left rear taillight, that sucks in under vacuum to expose the filler cap for filling the car with gasoline. As part of the Western motif the interior seats were finished in “unborn calf skin” which begs the question what’s the difference between “unborn calfskin” and “newborn calfskin”?

O.K. its from the 80’s and it’s a Subaru but any time I see a car this old with so few miles it’s going to catch my attention. A one owner car that was put away shortly after purchase, it now sits on a dealer showroom in Portland, Oregon. A vehicle history report going back to 1995 shows that the Subaru wagon had just 8,000 miles in 1995. Since then the car has been driven an average of just 100 miles/year. The report also shows that the car was registered every year and passed yearly emissions. Without much of a future as a collectible this is the kind of car that should be bought for a good price and driven. The ebay seller has steep buy it now price of $12,995.
